This is a complete kit for attaching a rudder cable to a SmartTrack rudder head. The aluminium swage (cable lock) is crimped with pliers to secure the cable. If you want to remove the rudder for longer transport, you can do it neatly by releasing the retaining ring. The THS can also be used if you run rudder lines instead of wire. In that case, you tie the line in place rather than crimping it with the cable lock.
