Fastens with a concealed hook and eye to centre front. The collar is a cotton lace, which is also beaded to the centre has aged to a very dark brown. Overall it is intact and beads appear secure (Ive carefully moved it around, on and off mannequin etc. without any bead loss or break wage) but as with any century and a half old thread I
