This large cellarette is of sarcophagus shape and displays the influence of neoclassicism in the late 18th century, the hinged lid with a central rectangular tablet above sloped sides, to the interior is the original galvanized tin liner which would easily accommodate a full case of wine. The base of taped form with a stepped plinth and raised on compressed bun feet
