Antique French Empire Mahogany Marble Top Ormolu Commode Chest of Drawers 1810 Paintings below are two short &A fine quality early 19th century antique French Empire mahogany marble top commode, with Neo Classical ormolu mounts, circa 1810. The commode is of the finest quality, the top is made of black & white variegated veined marble. The commode with four drawers, the top drawer with a large impressive gilt bronze lock escutcheon, featuring twin cupids with their bows drawn, with an eagle to the center nestled amongst laurel leaves. The three drawers below
