The bronze in the style of Emmanuel Fremiet, made from solid cast bronze by the lost wax method (Cire Perdue) and depicting a recumbent greyhound with crossed legs, resting on a dark variegated marble plinth. The bronze having a rich patina, both the bronze and marble plinth are in very good condition.
