White Currant 'Zitavia' (Ribes spp.) Central Garden or magenta underneathCurrants are rich in antioxidants and are much higher in Vitamin C than oranges. Red, White and Pink Currants are basically different forms of the same species. Currants are self fertile and hardy to minus 40F. or below. This easy to grow, disease resistant variety is prized for their striking racemes of attractive and very colorful, translucent berries. These flavorful berries are very nutritious and make a sweet tart snack or delicious preserves.
