While it is very striking color, I am almost certain it has been treated to enhance the color. That said, this is a collector piece for someone who is aware of this and is looking for a specimen to show this type of color in spodumene. I am uncertain of the colors stability and it is very possible that it may fade over time. All that said, it is a very nice piece with good aesthetics
