The album includes the various backing bands for Bowie at the time; Davie Jones and the Lower Third, Davie Jones, and The Mannish Boys, which feature Jimmy Page on guitar. The CD features 10 previously unreleased tracks with unheard Bowie compositions, alternative takes and an instrumental featuring Bowie on harmonica.
