The lid features a charming floral design in white, pink, gold and green. The mirror gives a good and accurate reflection. The hinges and catches work perfectly. The original puff, sifter, instruction leaflets and pouch are present. The compact is signed Stratton MADE IN ENGLAND. The gilded brass is lacquered and so it will not tarnish or need to be cleaned.
