John McVie was next to leave the Bluesbreakers, joining Peter Green and Mick Fleetwood in their new venture, Fleetwood Mac. Reedsman Dick Heckstall Smith joined, alongside drummer Jon Hiseman from the Graham Bond Organisation and bass
