It also improves water quality and clarity by clearing cloudy water of organics. Potassium Permanganate is a strong oxidizer. Application Instructions To improve water clarity, dose at 2ppm (each ounce treats 375 gallons). To treat parasites and bacteria, dose at 4ppm (each ounce treats 188
