The soil here is volcanic, making it mineral rich as well as loose with great drainage. The grapes are crushed, pressed, and fermented under controlled temperatures for about 20 days, and the wine is aged for only a few months in bottle. This results in a young, vibrant white wine with impressive structure and acidity, but not lacking in ripe fruit character.
