Victorian "XXX" Bloodstone Barrel Charm music box Natural pearl - 7mmDATE: Victorian, c. 1880 Unusual antique charm in the form of a barrel with the letters 'XXX' engraved on the top. The barrel itself is crafted in 9k gold and shows foliate detailing, with the other side showing a bloodstone panel. Dating from the Victorian era, circa 1880 The letter "X" is used on some beers, and was traditionally a mark of beer strength, so, a single X for the weakest beer, XX for a medium strength beer, and XXX for the strongest
