It depicts "Lady Hope" by the sea awaiting the return of her lover, with a ship in full sail on the horizon. Usually, the anchor she rests on is on full display, however with this piece you can see the top of it where her arm is resting. The miniature sets the scene perfectly and it's mounted in 15k gold, with both brooch and pendant
