Early Victorian Garnet Snake Collar diamonds with a relatively low profileDATE: Victorian, c. 1830 An unusual early Victorian snake collar dating from circa, 1830. The serpent's head is set with five red garnets, graduated in size and has striking green paste gemstone eyes, all in great condition. The head also features scroll detailing and is crafted in pinchbeck throughout. It fastens at the mouth with a tail like loop.
